No problem! Your service will begin with the next scheduled flag holiday and continue until you’ve received five total flag placements. Please note: in order to receive a flag on the next holiday, we must receive your subscription at least five business days in advance. Subscriptions received after that window will begin on the following holiday.

Absolutely! If you’d like multiple flags displayed, simply select a higher quantity when ordering. For example, choosing a quantity of 2 means you’ll receive 2 flags in your yard on each of the five holidays.

Yes! A flag subscription makes a meaningful gift—perfect for honoring a veteran, friend, neighbor, or loved one. Just enter the recipient’s name and address at checkout. Please make sure the address is within the Independence High School zone. If not, we recommend contacting the high school band program for that area.

We are happy to place flags at local businesses located within the Independence High School zone. If your business is outside this zone, please reach out to the appropriate school program in your area.

A metal ground spike will be inserted approximately 6 inches into your lawn, typically about 3 feet back from the curb. Our band members then mount the flagpole securely on the spike. It’s sturdy for the day and easy to remove, leaving minimal impact on your yard.

We generally aim to place the flag in line with your front door and about 3 feet back from the curb for visibility. If you’d like it placed elsewhere—or if you have irrigation lines or an invisible pet fence—just let us know in your order notes so we can do our best to accommodate.

While we work hard to cover every subscriber, an address may occasionally be missed. If this happens, please contact us at IndependenceBandFlags@gmail.com and we’ll deliver your flag as soon as possible. If we’re unable to get a flag out in a timely manner, we’ll make it right by extending your subscription to include a future holiday.

Orders must be received by us no later than five business days before the next patriotic holiday for installation on that date.
