We're Moving to CutTime!

We are excited to share that the Indy Band is transitioning from BoosterHub to a new communications platform called CutTime. This change will help us streamline communication across all areas of our program, including Marching Band, Band Class, and Color Guard. We have found CutTime to be a much better user experience and easier to receive notifications from than BoosterHub. No app is needed for CutTime; notifications come to your phone via text and open right in your web browser!

To help make this a smooth transition, we will continue using BoosterHub alongside CutTime for a short period while we get everyone added and acclimated to the new system.

For now, we will only be using CutTime to communicate with parents. Our hope is to add students later.

CutTime works best with a phone number! If you are on this list and we don’t have a cell number for you on file, Mr. Grayson will be reaching out so we can set it up in CutTime.

You will receive an invitation email or text from Mr. Grayson through CutTime with instructions to access your account. Text should come from +1-844-385-8463. Save this number and save the link to your home screen! Please be patient as we all learn through this transition! If you do not receive your invitation by July 1st, please email us at indybandcommunications@gmail.com so we can assist you.

USA Flags Update - Fourth of July - Volunteers Needed

Thank you to all who volunteered for our first two flag holidays. We placed almost 400 flags each holiday and that would not have been possible without each of you! The Flag Fundraiser is our largest fundraiser and we ask that every band family sign up for 3 routes throughout the year so if you didn’t get a chance to sign up yet, it is time for your next opportunity. We still need many more volunteers for July 4th so please check out the link below to see if you can help with either an AM or PM shift. Also we have started a friendly competition between the students this year with prizes coming for each holiday’s winners. So far the rising Sophomores need to really kick it in and every section is chasing down the Brass.

Here is the link for you to Sign-up for your routes for this year:

Kickoff Potluck

It’s time to begin another great season and we can’t wait to see all of our students and parents at our Marching Band Kickoff Potluck!

SAVE THE DATE for Friday, July 11 at 6:00 p.m. in the IHS cafeteria.

The band board will provide the burgers and toppings, and we’d love for you to bring sides, drinks, and desserts to share. We will also need a few volunteers to help set up. Please sign up here!

We’ll have dinner, introduce our band staff and board, and talk all things marching band – schedules, volunteer opportunities, and show details.

Schoology Groups

Students, make sure you have joined our Schoology groups!  Everyone should be in the Marching Band Schoology Group, and color guard should also join the Color Guard Schoology Group.

Marching Band Schoology Code: PRF2P-23BDC

Color Guard Schoology Code: K49V-CXMK-3ZQSS

Show Music

Please use the link below for show music! This is a live link so please check back for more music.  Percussion music will be posted as soon as I have it. Please have students check the Schoology group, or the link below.

We have not assigned parts yet.  We will make final part assignments on the first day of band camp. Take a look at both parts for now. This should only affect Trumpets, Trombones, and Baritones.
